Our programs are based on firsthand experience with the road blocks encountered by former inmates, and those in transition or recovery, as they reenter society.

Message from the Director of The F8 Foundation

The F8 Foundation offers a multifaceted approach that provides help for male and female returning citizens (formerly incarcerated, in transition, or in recovery) to acclimate back into society. We help with job searches, resume writing, license issues, CORI issues, vocational and academic training, and housing (transitional housing, sober housing, halfway housing and shelters). We assist with EBT issues, MA Health, DFS, DMH, and any other obstacles that our clients need to overcome.

The F8 provide legal services, parole preparation, accounting services, business plan writing, credit repair consultation, and budget preparation. We work with and mentor each client on an individual basis. We work with the court system to clear up any legal issues still at hand.

The F8 also works with individuals on state and federal probation as well as individuals on parole to insure a smooth transition back to society. We offer programs of pro social behavior, such as music workshops, art workshops, and trips to the theater or ballet.

Mindful of the hurdles faced by the clients of The F8, the Director is the president of the Criminal Justice Policy Coalition of MA. She is also a referring agent for Dress for Success and serves on the boards of the following MA organizations: Ronald A. Burgess Jr. Foundation Inc., Campaign to End Life without Parole, and Family Service Coalition.

We at The F8 Foundation know how difficult it is to return. We know the obstacles that you will face, and we are eager to help you on an individual basis. We take great pride and find enduring pleasure in seeing our clients make successful transitions back into society.

Thank you for your interest in the F8, we hope you will reach out to us and let us make this next stage of your life a positive and successful journey.

Warmest regards,
Cynthia Goldberg, Director
